First let me say that the quality of this sleeve is top notch. It is well made and should last for a very long time. Also, the price was pretty amazing. I realize this is for an older generation product, but the price even considering that was great. The things to be aware of are this: the form factor of the sleeve is a little larger than I imagined it would be. The dimensions are virtually a square at 8 3/4" by 9". The holder for the Apple Pencil adds about an inch. The other thing that I noticed was that the leather was a bit stiff. It will take a little "breaking in" to get the case to fold right to be a stand for either viewing (more vertical) or typing (more horizontal). It will work just fine, but until the leather breaks in a little it will resist folding a bit. Not a knock off, but simply something to be aware of. Shipping was quick and free using Shop to check out, which I do whenever I can. Overall a very nice sleeve. A slightly smaller form factor would have resulted in a five star review.
